I first started Playing Basketball at the age of 10 for the Sturt Sabres Basketball club in Adelaide and then went on to take a scholarship at the A.I.S in Canberra at the age of 15. I was first announced in the Opals squad at the age of 17 and made my first Opals team at 18 which was the World Championships in China. I have represented Australia at 4 Olympic Games, 3 World Championships and 1 Commonwealth Games. I have played professionally for the Adelaide Lightning for 8 seasons, 6 seasons in the beautiful country of Italy, 2 seasons in France and 2 seasons in the WNBA for the Connecticut Sun. Basketball has brought so much to my life but the ultimate joy is meeting my husband through the sport & now having our baby daughter Ava who was born in October 2018.
