In 2005, Michael Vaughan earned his place in cricket history by becoming the first English captain to win an Ashes series since Mike Gatting in 1986-87. Since then Vaughan has gone on to become one of the most respected commentators in the sport.

Known as one of the best of his time, Vaughan opened the batting with composure showcasing his sound technical ability. Australian spinner Shane Warne claimed that Michael was one of the best batsmen that he has ever bowled to.

Upon retirement Michael lent his hand to commentary, offering his insight to both English and Australian audiences.
