Taken at pick 3 in the critically acclaimed 2001 superdraft, Judd didn’t take long to showcase his elite skills as an outside midfielder. His blistering pace was a perfect fit for West Coasts star-studded midfield including Ben Cousins, Daniel Kerr, and ruckman Dean Cox. Judd took no time solidifying himself as one of the greatest to play the game since the turn of the century and his maturity and intelligence found him captaining West Coast at the age of 22.

In 2007 Judd was at the top of his game when he requested a trade back to Melbourne. His wish was granted, and Judd moved to Carlton becoming club captain in his first season. Chris played out the rest of his career at Carlton rounding out a career that spanned 14 years and 279 games.
