A member of the AFL Academy, Myles travelled to the US at the start of the 2016 to undertake an elite training experience at the IMG Academy in Florida with a group of his peers rated as the best players amongst there age group. Myles gained a huge amount of benefit from this trip which not only included the physical aspect, but also confidence in his own ability.
Myles was also selected for the second year running in the Victorian Country team which competed in the NAB AFL Under 18 National Championships. Unfortunately the team didn't experience a great deal of success, however personally it was a great carnival by Myles as he showed his versatility playing in the midfield and also as a damaging player overhead and around goals.
Selected with the Adelaide Crows second pick in the 2016 Draft, Myles enjoyed his first year at the Crows immensely. Featuring in the Senior Team during the NAB Cup, Myles was unlucky not to make his AFL debut in 2017 in what was an incredibly tough line up to break into as the team went agonisingly close to the Premiership.
