Madii Himbury is a determined and inspiring Olympian, rich in personality with a passion for health & wellbeing.
Madii has not experienced a smooth path to her success, having to overcome many physical and mental battles. Madii's ability to prevail despite these injuries is a testament to her strength in character, immense commitment and resilience. Her athletic highlights include 2018 Australian winter Olympic finalist, World championships 20th and Continental Cup 3rd.
As a diligent student athlete she completed a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science and a Masters of Public Health at The University of Sydney. During this time she was named 2018 female Blue of the year, received a university graduate medal for leadership and sporting achievement as well as 2020 elite athlete program valedictorian.
She currently juggles multiple roles focusing on both physical and mental components of health. As a mental health promotion officer she researches and develops campaigns to engage and support individuals and communities and decrease stigma. As a clinical Pilates teacher she helps many overcome injury, increase body awareness whilst decreasing pain and increasing athletic performance. Lastly, she shares her story of adversity and success to inspire workplaces, schools and individuals to develop resilience and achieve their own goals through mentoring and public speaking.
