Ben is best known as the BBC's first dedicated LGBT Correspondent, filing news reports for the 6 O'Clock News and 10 O'Clock News as well as all the national radio networks. His appointment led to him being honoured as the cover star for Attitude Magazine's 25th anniversary edition.

Since starting the role in April 2019, his biggest stories include breaking the news of HRH Prince William supporting a potential LGBT royal, how black male victims of sexual abuse are 'ignored' in statistics and fronting a season of coverage celebrating 50 years since the Stonewall Riots. His digital films have also been seen by millions and his journalism has already been nominated for awards, including by the Royal Television Society, PinkNews and British LGBT Awards. In 2019 he was awarded an ‘Alumni Laureate Award’ by the University of Nottingham, where he studied a Neuroscience degree on a full scholarship.

Ben is an energetic and enthusiastic presenter on TV, radio and stage.
