27 year old, Judo athlete from Sydney, Australia. 2 x Olympic Judo Athlete, placing TOP 16 at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Qualified for Rio 2016 Olympic Games alongside my younger brother (Josh).
2022 Birmingham Commonwealth games Bronze Medallist- 7 weeks post knee surgery.
Had a number of serious injuries and illnesses within this Olympic cycle which put a number of setbacks and preventions on my targets and goals. Feel passionately about speaking to adults, or children/students about overcoming adversity, following your dreams and believing in yourself when others perhaps don't.
Additionally, throughout this Olympic Cycle, I have completed a personal training certification and am halfway through my Sports Media and Journalism Degree. Understand and can communicate effectively how to manage time and more than 1 major commitment. Have served as a community custodian for Lifeline Australia and am a passionate advocate for mental health.
