Sharni is an extremely athletic, talented player who has shown resilience in the face of adversity to realise her dream of playing in the SSN. A talented youngster who excelled at underage level, she then got caught behind Diamond incumbents in her home state, meaning she was never offered a full time SSN contract.
Sharni continued to toil away, plying her trade in the Victorian State league and ANC Competitions before a call form the NSW Swifts changed her life. At 26, she finalised realised her dream of a full time contract in the SSN. Fast forward 9 months and she's established herself as the dominant WD in the competition and an integral part of the NSW Swifts 2025 campaign.
Of court, Sharni maintains life balance by fishing and being outdoors in her spare time and also working with physically and mentally handicapped children.
