About me

  • Brisbane Lions
  • Sport
  • Australian Rules Football
  • AFLW

I grew up on Magnetic Island, North Queensland. I started playing football at five years old for the Magnetic Island Magpies mixed junior team. I absolutely loved it - even though there was no womens league in Townsville at the time, I was passionate enough to travel the four hours north to Cairns to play in their womens league for the North Cairns Tigers and train with a men's team in Townsville as a 16 year old. I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by strong female role models throughout my journey who have blazed the way for Womens AFL in Queensland.

I was selected in multiple Queensland representative sides until I finally moved to South East Queensland on a sporting scholarship to play for the University of Queensland Red Lions in 2014.

In 2016, I was recruited by the Brisbane Lions at pick 50 in the inaugral 2016 AFL Women’s Draft. Now in my tenth season as a Lion and signed until 2027, I have played over 90 games, was selected in the All-Australian team in 2022, been a part of the Lions leadership group since 2020, vice-captained the 2021 Premiership team, and captained the last four seasons, including the 2023 Premiership. I have played in six out of the nine Premierships to date and have a depth of experience in leadership, resilience and success in elite sporting enviroments.
