Create an experience with Tessa Doumanis

Tessa Doumanis is an Australian Rules footballer playing for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's competition. Doumanis was recruited by Port Adelaide as an open age signing in May 2022.

Tessa has spent the last three seasons playing with Claremont in the WAFL.

A multi-talented sportswoman, Doumanis experienced success in her teenage years across volleyball, tennis and basketball, with the latter even taking her to China to compete.

At 17, Doumanis made the switch to football after being encouraged by her home room teacher.

Tessa is a very intelligent flashy dangerous forward with plenty of x-factor with an impressive left boot. She has been a consistent source of goals inside 50 for Claremont. She is equally capable on the lead or at ground level and in setting up chances for teammates. 

Doumanis works hard to create opportunities for herself up forward, and is not afraid to take kicks from precarious positions on the ground, including from the pockets.

Tessa has the ability to change a game in five minutes. You give her five minutes unmarked and she’s going to hurt you.

She is eager and determined to take on her next challenge in the AFLW and to elevate to the next level.
