Tom Hutchesson's story is one of persistence and inspiration. At 24 years of age, Tom became the oldest person to ever be picked in the National Draft (without being previously on a list) when he was taken at pick 65 of the 2019 National Draft by the GWS GIANTS.
Tom hails from small SA country town Millicent, where he began his journey playing local football, before signing on with the Adelaide Crows as a top up player for their SANFL side.
Hutchesson was delisted at the conclusion of the 2021 season. He returned to play local football in Millicent.
