I am a professional track cyclist training in Adelaide, Australia. Recently I won two bronze medals at the 2018 commonwealth games. I juggle university, my young family and full time sport.
At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, I finished 3rd in the team sprint event alongside Nathan Hart and Patrick Constable. I also picked up a bronze medal in the individual sprint. As a junior I won 3 gold medals at the world championships alongside a world record.
I study medical science part-time at Flinders University and have a young 2 year old daughter. This work-life balance is very important for me and keeps me very busy.
Through the years of my sport I have learnt many lessons on routine, discipline, motivation and commitment. Nevertheless, I find some of the most important lessons to be those I have learnt about balance and life outside of sport.
