Nicole is a 26-year-old para-equestrian rider and was a member of the Australian Team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. She has been riding since the age of two, but after being diagnosed with spinal cancer in 2008 and having 8cm of her spine removed she thought she would never ride again. She discovered para-equestrian dressage and has been on the National Para-Equestrian squad since 2011. Nicole is also a scholarship holder at the Victorian Institute of Sports.
