Create an experience with Lloyd Owusu

Lloyd Owusu came from a non-league background onto the professional football scene in 1998 at the age of 21. His first season in professional football started impressively with Owusu taking out the Golden Boot after being the top goal scorer of the league with 25 goals in 56 appearances. His team Brentford FC went on to win the Football League Third Division Championship Title that season. After completing his time at Brentford FC, he was transferred to Sheffield Wednesday and soon became a instant Sheffield Wednesday hero, when after 60seconds into his debut, "One Touch Owusu" scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win against rivals Sheffield United in the renown Sheffield Darby. From 2003 - 2009 Owusu's professional football journey continued in both the Championship League and League one with Owusu playing for the likes of Reading, BrentFord FC, Yeovil Town, Cheltenham and Brighton Hove Albion. During this time Owusu was also called up to represent his home country of Ghana where he made four capped appearances in International Friendly matches. In 2009 Owusu chose to take his Football career "Down Under" and signed for Adelaide United in the the Hyundai A-League, although only making 16 appearances due to illness. 2011 saw Owusu made the journey back to the UK signing for Luton in the Conference League, with a brief stint at Barnet. After his time abroad, Owusu returned to the football club of his childhood, Slough Town, giving back to the club that were essential to the creation of his career. In 2012, after a spectacular professional football career Owusu made a permanent move to Australia with his family. Although his focus changed from playing to coaching, Owusu continues to play Semi-Professional football in Australia.
