Reagan Campbell-Gillard has been a stalwart of the Penrith Panther’s line-up since debuting for the club in 2015 and is now their starting prop. Reagan spent his early career playing for the Panthers Under-20s team where he impressed with his performances and was named in the 2013 NRL Under-20’s Team of the Year.
Reagan was born in Blacktown, New South Wales but has represented both Fiji and Australia internationally as his mother was a Fijian emigrant. Raised in Mount Druitt by his single mother, Reagan played Junior Rugby League for the Rooty Hill Dragons.
Reagan’s career highlights include being awarded the inaugural Dally M interchange Player of the Year award and the Merv Cartright Medal as the Panthers Player of the year in 2017. He has won the Rugby League World Cup in 2017 appearing for Australia and has represented New South Wales in state-of-origin.
Reagan suffered the biggest setback to his career in 2016 when was hit by a late shoulder charge which resulted in a season ending back injury. He had two fractured vertebrae and due to the seriousness of the injury Reagan could not change out of his playing kit for two days.
