A mother of two who lives life by her own design, Oneata represented Australia in Rugby Union and Samoa in Rugby League where she won a Commonwealth Silver Medal. She is determined in her pursuit to see the game of rugby grow and the rise of females in sport and pass on her knowledge to the next generation. She encourages you to create and smash their own goals by sharing intimate details of her own resilient journey
Bringing Victorian influence into the squad, Oneata is one of the great competitors of Women’s Rugby. She made a name for herself throughout the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup for her hard running, and abrasive style in Test matches. In Sydney, Oneata plays for the Randwick Magic and has a wealth of family members who have played Rugby at the top level, including her brother John Schwalger.
