Lydia is an indigenous Australian footballer for the Matildas, Melbourne Victory, and many overseas-based clubs.
She grew up in outback Australia with her family and fully embraced the aboriginal culture in her youth, a good example is having 2 pet kangaroos. Her mother is American so she has family ties overseas also.
She is now based in Melbourne for the W-League but has been in the matildas for 19 years.
When not in Australia she plays in the UK at Brighton.
