Ella Nelson is a former professional sprinter who represented Australia across a 10-year period in World Championships, Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
Ella is most known for her 2016 Olympic Games campaign where she won the hearts of Australia in her post-race interview after a running a personal best and narrowly missing the 200m final by 0.01 seconds.
Ella continues to evolve, proving that life’s most rewarding race extends far beyond the track. After a successful career in athletics, Ella decided to take a step away from competitive sprinting to embark on a new adventure, becoming a mum.
While she may have retired from the track, Ella is far from being out of the spotlight. Her experiences, both on and off the track, make her a relatable and influential figure, capable of inspiring diverse audiences.
As she embarks on this new chapter, Ella seeks to use her platform to empower others, encourage healthy lifestyles, and redefine the narrative around motherhood and career pursuits.
