Beck Mitchell is an inspiring young Australian. She is a Director of Bridge Builders Youth Charity, an organisation she has been involved in for over 18 years.

In 2020, Beck represented Australia in the World Marathon Challenge, which involves running even marathons on seven continents in seven days. Beck is one of only 164 people in the world to have completed the challenge.

“As an endurance athlete, I have learned to push myself beyond my own limiting beliefs and I love helping others do the same”

Beck has also appeared as part of the TV series of SAS Australia, called ‘Hell Week’. She embarked on the challenge of a lifetime as she attempted to make it through the brutal SAS selection course. The DS (Directing Staff) made no exceptions, as they put the recruits through punishing tasks and took the course to a new level of intensity! You can re-live the journey of Recruit #9 as she tackled undoubtedly one of the toughest selection courses on the planet.

After more than 10 years competing as an ultra marathon runner, Beck is now focusing her efforts on the multi-discipline sport of triathlons. She is currently training for her debut Ironman event and will aim to qualify for the World Ironman Championships 2024, in Nice, France.

I truly believe that in fulfilling our potential, we are all making the world a better place, together.
