Karina Brown is a former professional rugby league star (GC Titans), Queensland captain, Australian representative and two-time World Cup winner.

In 2024, Karina announced her retirement from NRLW, marking the conclusion of one of the most distinguished careers in the sport. As she steps away from the field, she begins an exciting new chapter in sideline coverage.

A fullback / winger renowned for her blistering pace and highly motivational leadership style, Karina has been involved in rugby league since she was just five years old. Making her senior debut for the Burleigh bears in 2012, Karina went on to play for the Sydney Roosters as a member of their inaugural NRLW Premiership side.

Throughout her career, Karina has had the privilege of representing Australia, winning two World Cup’s with the Jillaroos in 2017 & 2013. She also captained the Jillaroos at the 2017 Commonwealth Championship, was a member of the 2018 NRL Elite Women’s Squad, and made appearances for Queensland from 2010-2018.

Off the footy field, Karina has utilized her platform as a strong advocate for gender equality in sport, and is a proud ambassador of the WeAreWomen campaign.
