Hi, I'm Hannah. I've represented Australia for the past 10 years as a handball player as well as spending time with the Darebin Falcons in the VFL. I've competed around the world throughout Europe, Asia and Oceania, including on the World Championship stage as well as being part of the Australian team to compete for qualification for the 2016 Olympics.
At the end of 2015 I came out as transgender and in 2018 became the first athlete in the world to represent their country both pre and post transition in their chosen sport. Whilst doing this I was also playing VFL football after being denied the chance to play AFLW in 2017.
Away from sport I am the sole director of a company which currently employs 23 people across Melbourne and Canberra, providing disability support to people with a mental health condition or neurolgical disability.
I am passionate about inclusion across all sections of society and this extends to advocating for our animals friends, being a lover of all animals for my entire life.
