Create an experience with Emma Gandini

Known for her defensive tenacity and quick hands, Emma has always been a formidable presence in the semi-professional NBL1 West league. After several years of dominant performances with the Willetton Tigers including 2 championships and several Defensive Player of the Year awards, Emma was offered a Development Player position at the Perth Lynx – an opportunity she grabbed with both hands. She played minutes in 14 out of 20 games with the Perth Lynx, which is an impressive feat for a new DP. She was rewarded minutes for her defensive intensity on and off the ball, and also contributed offensively shooting at 45% and 50% from the 3 point line. After making the grand final and being awarded another Defensive Player of the Year in the 2022 NBL1 West season, Emma was offered a full playing contract with the Perth Lynx and is enjoying her first full season as a professional athlete. Emma is also a qualified accountant and volunteers at Orange Sky, which connects people experiencing homelessness to free laundry and shower services. Emma is a great example of what you can achieve if you don’t give up, and at 28 years of age and in the form of her life, it’s exciting to think what Emma can achieve in the years to come.
