Rob has enjoyed an extensive executive career within the financial services industry, having acted as both the Chief Executive Officer of St George Banking Group (2010 – 2012) and the Managing Director of BankSA (2002 – 2010).

Rob currently serves as a Director on a number of prominent South Australian Boards including Adelaide Airport Ltd (Chairman), Adelaide Football Club (Chairman), T-Ports (Chairman), Barossa Infrastructure Ltd (Chairman), Coopers Brewery Limited (Director), Radio Rentals (Director) and is the immediate past Chairman of Bank SA and past President of Business SA and CEDA South Australia.

Rob is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Financial Services Institute of Australasia and holds an Associate Diploma in Business from the South Australian Institute of Technology. Rob has been recognised for his consistent pursuit of excellence and outstanding contribution to South Australia with the 2005 SA Great Award for Business.

Rob has a high level of emotional intelligence and a sound ability to build strong relationships across a board range of constituents. He has an easy-going communication style and personal manner. His candidness is highly appreciated as is his energetic approach to communication and personal interaction.
