Oscar Brownless was selected by Geelong in the 2018 National Draft under the father-son rule, following in Billy Brownless footsteps who played 198 games for the Cats between 1986 – 1997.
Brownless has an elite aerobic capacity, registering an impressive 6:13 minute 2km time trial at the AFL Draft Combine. His work ethic, leadership and approach to training at such a young age has him earmarked as a worthy candidate to carry on the elite midfield setup at Geelong.
Oscar was delisted by the cats at the end of 2021. Oscar signed with South Adelaide for the 2022 SANFL season.
