About me

Mitch Evans Formula E Racing Driver, Jaguar Racing Mitch has been a talent to watch since before he left his native New Zealand at the tender age of 15 to race in Europe full-time with a plethora of karting and open-wheel championships to his name. He added the 2012 GP3 Series title to his impressive tally and then progressed to GP2 where he amassed 17 podium finishes and gained a strong reputation as a hard charger. Mitch’s results caught the eye of Jaguar in 2016 who invited him to test and subsequently spearhead their return to international motorsport in the FIA Formula E Championship. Mitch jumped at the opportunity to turn professional with the quintessential British marque and together have become a formidable partnership, team and driver establishing themselves as regular front runners in the series. Mitch scored his and Jaguar’s breakthrough Formula E win in Rome in 2019, along with podium finishes in Bern and New York while in 2020, in a season heavily punctuated by the global Covid pandemic, Mitch won again in Mexico. In 2021, he was the most consistent competitor with five podium finishes. He narrowly missed winning the championship when it all came down to the final race in Berlin and his car failed on the grid. Although fourth place in the championship was Mitch’s best Formula E result to date, it was not indicative of his impressive season, and he and TCS Jaguar Racing will be determined to make 2022 a year to remember. Mitch kicks off his 2022 campaign in the opening round of the FIA World Formula E Championship in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on January 28.
