Hayden Crozier was traded from the Fremantle Dockers to the Western Bulldogs ahead of the 2018 season. Crozier has played 69 games for the Dockers over his five years at the club. Known originally for his ability as a high-flying small forward, Crozier has developed his career into becoming a rebound half-back and wing.
Crozier made his debut in 2012 however through combinations of injury and tough internal competition, only played a handful of games. It was not until later in 2014 and throughout 2015 that Hayden appeared more frequently in the side’s forward-line however was regularly a substitute player in these games.
2016 was Hayden’s breakout year where he played 16 games after making a transition from small forward to half back. Hayden relished the move and found himself a more permanent player. His 2016 form flowed into 2017 where he played a further 19 games for the club, collecting an average of 12.6 disposals and 3.9 tackles.
Hayden is committed to the Western Bulldogs until the end of the 2023 season.
