Alexander Porter is an Australian professional racing cyclist. He rode in the men's team pursuit at the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships winning a gold medal. He qualified to represent Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where he won a bronze medal in the team pursuit.
While riding in the men's pursuit team, Porter crashed at 65kmh after his handlebars gave way. he suffered serious cuts and burns but pulled himself together to re-ride the race only an hour later.
