David Bryant is a 2x Paralympian, Accredited Practising Dietitian and Advanced Sports Dietitian.
David just returned from the Paris Paralympics, placing 8th in the PTS5 Paratriathlon.
In 2023 David recently was selected for the Australian Institute of Sport Black Dog mental health ambassador program, presenting to schools around Australia.
David is a Level 1 Triathlon Coach has also been a Personal Trainer for over 15 years. These passions of his neatly tie in together in assisting his clients achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals.
David has a strong involvement in the endurance sport scene, with a personal best marathon time of 2 hours 48 minutes (SIX times under 3 hours), a Half Ironman Triathlon personal best time of 4 hours 16 minutes and came 5th overall at the Western Australia Sprint Triathlon Championships in 2015.
David completed his first Ironman in Busselton in 2016 in 9 hours 19 minutes on debut. David attributes these achievements to applying his nutrition and fitness knowledge to his everyday lifestyle. In 2019, David was categorised in ParaTriathlon in PTS5, as he was born with a clubfoot. After winning the Devonport ITU Paratriathlon World Cup in March 2019, he was then placed on the ParaTriathlon Australian and WAIS team in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
Fast track to 2021, David competed at the Tokyo Paralympics, placing 7th in the PTS5 category, a truly memorable experience being part of the Paralympic team and competing on the world stage.
This in depth knowledge and lifestyle experiences, assist his clients in achieving their goals. Whether that be a sporting goal, weight loss target or specific dietary requirement. David recently completed a Nutrition traineeship at The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) working with world class athletes to further improve his Dietetic Skills. In 2017, David worked with the Fremantle Dockers, where he managed the nutrition regime for the players playing for Peel Thunder (Premiers) on game day in the 2017 WAFL competition.
Eating to live but also living to eat is a passion of David’s where the specific lifestyle goals and preferences of his clients are taken into consideration to tailor a client centred nutrition plan.
Public speaking is David's passion, offering insight to his guests on his journey as an elite club foot triathlete and how food maximises his performance on and off the training track everyday.
