Rhydian Cowley is a dual Olympian. He competes in the longest event in Athletics, the 50km walk, and worked full time in the lead up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Outside of work and sport, Rhydian loves to make jam using fruit grown in his local neighbourhood and is passionate about environmental and climate justice.
He is also an ambassador for the Sports Environment Alliance, EcoAthletes, as well as High Impact Athletes and the Australian Institute of Sport’s Share a Yarn reconciliation program.
Rhydian has degrees majoring in history and economics, and currently works as a practice manager at a financial advice firm.
