Caleb grew up playing AFL football in South Australia's Yorke Peninsula playing for the Ardrossan Kangaroos. After excelling at SANFL under-18 level with Woodville West-Torrens, Caleb was selected by the Collingwood Magpies with Pick #30 in the 2020 AFL National Draft. Since making his AFL debut on the MCG in Round 7 of the 2021 AFL season, he has become a fan favourite for his penetrating left foot kick and his trademark mullet.
