Aisling McCarthy is a Fremantle Dockers AFLW player and was named in the All- Australian team in 2024. Aisling is GAA and AFLW Star from Ireland, currently residing in Perth WA.

Aisling previously played 2 seasons at the Western Bulldogs, and 4 seasons at West Coast Eagles before making the move across to cross town rivals Fremantle.

In 2024, Aisling was crowned the Runner-up in her club's ‘Best & Fairest’ awards as well as being Fremantle’s leading goal kicker for the season. Aisling was also two time Runner-Up in the West Coast Eagles Club Champion Awards in 2021 & 2022.

Growing up she played Camogie and Gaelic football, focusing on the latter at inter-county level. In 2017, she helped Tipperary win the All-Ireland intermediate ladies football final, scoring 1-4 in a player-of-the-match display. As a result of her exceptional performance that year she was awarded intermediate player of the year. In 2019, she was again part of the Tipperary Intermediate All-Ireland winning side. She was nominated for a midfield All-Star after her performances.

Outside of sport, Aisling graduated as a Physiotherapist in May 2018 and enjoys all things health and fitness. Aisling has a keen interest in Women’s health and is currently studying a Masters in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at Curtin University.
