Ella Connolly is a young lady on the move - and doing it quickly!
Ella is an extremely talented young Australian athlete.
At 16 years old Ella was considered a girl with boundless potential. Already in her sporting career Ella has been ranked Number 1 in the World in under 18 400m, ranked Number 2 in Australia Open Women 400m and ranked top 6 in Australia Open Women 200m.
Constantly surpassing her already impressive results Ella is ready to achieve greatness. She has set her sights firmly on being a podium athlete for Australia at both the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
Ella was selected in the Australian Senior Team for the World Championships in London 2017. Her preparation and attitude in the team environment caught the eye of senior team members and her experience will stand her in good stead for her future.
Ella was a member of the 2022 Commonwealth Games team in Birmingham, finishing 6th in the 200m & 4th in the 4 x 100m Relay.
Ella has a very supportive family and team around her. She is well spoken and has the drive and tenacity required of champions. She has all the building blocks in place. Ella is one to watch!
