David Ireland is the one and only Wildlife Man! His wildlife documentaries have been seen by countless millions world-wide over the last 30 years on all the major TV networks including Discovery Channel.

He is one of the most experienced wildlife film producers in the world and has worked with a huge diversity of animal life. Everything from whales and sharks, lions and leopards to some of the most deadly creatures like snakes and crocodiles. 

His life story book is titled " The Extraordinary Life of the Wildlife Man " and is available on hundreds of on-line book stores and websites world-wide, including Penguin Books and Amazon.

An extremely sickly child, David couldn't play sport and came close to dying of asthma attacks many times. His voice was damaged through medical procedures and lead to huge problems speaking. He suffered bullying at school and was physically assaulted by teachers in both primary and high school. 

David's life changed when he was taken under the arm of a circus strongman, training both his body and mind to became a champion school boxer and swimmer. After leaving school David worked on outback cattle stations and became a bushman. Aboriginal elders taught him traditional hunting and bush survival, including how to find bush tucker.

He eventually became a professional spear-fisherman, learning to free dive to over 40 meters and hold his breath over 4 minutes. In 1972 he opened Cronulla Dive School and over the next 25 years taught over fifteen thousand people to SCUBA dive, receiving the National Association of Diving Instructors award for teaching the most numbers of divers in Australia.

During the 1980`s David produced the film titled " Crocodileman", and during the production came close to being killed by a huge man eating crocodile in Western Australia. The film was screened in some cinemas across Australia and American for a record twelve months, and was screened world-wide on Discovery Channel, becoming one of the highest rating wildlife films every produced. It was through this that David owned the name Crocodile man and became the " original" Crocodile man.

After the production of the film, he launched his Wildlife Man TV series on world-wide networks. His trademark name " Wildlife Man"  is the number one listing on Google world-wide. 

David is a highly entertaining and inspiring public speaker, who's presentation includes a combination of funny and frightening wildlife encounter stories backed up with action video projected onto huge screens. His message is all about dealing with the fear of failure and how to strive to be our best self in life.
