Kyle Chalmers is the reigning Olympic men's 100m freestyle gold medallist and four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist.

Off the back of his success at the Rio Olympics Kyle won a number of prestigious awards including "Olympic Program Swimmer of the Year” and “Golden Moment of the Year” at the Swimming Australia Gala Dinner, AIS “Male Athlete of the Year” and “Best Sporting Moment”, SA Sports Star of the Year, and he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM).

All this by the age of 18.

Kyle is now 22 and gearing up for a defense of his Olympic title at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games and showed that he is still the world's best 100m freestyle swimmer by winning gold at the 2018 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships.

He has a great story to tell about his climb to the top of one of Australia's most popular sports.

Some interesting facts about Kyle include that he follows the Port Adelaide Football Club and enjoys collecting lizards.
