Chris Rogers is a former Australian cricketer who played for the Australian national team. Rogers is a left-handed opening batsman who played for Western Australia for ten years. Following this, he moved to Victoria. In the last decade, Rogers played county cricket for England for five first-class teams.
Although Rogers is colour blind and short sighted, he maintained a first-class average of nearly 50. He played for the Australian national team in 2008 and from 2013- 2015 where he opened the batting for Australia in 24 Tests. Rogers went on to captain Somerset in 2016.
