After being drafted by Collingwood prior to the 2012 season, Jarrod Witts played 40 games for the Magpies and established himself as one of the top ruckmen in the game. At the end of the 2016 season, Jarrod was traded to the Gold Coast Suns.
It was at the Suns where he would quickly become one of the main fixtures in the side, and would eventually be named as co-captain of the club in 2019.
2019 proved to be an excellent season for Jarrod, as not only did he break the single season record for most hit outs, he would go on to win the Suns' Best and Fairest award.
