Tasmanian based fast bowler playing with the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes after a stellar debut season in 2019/2020. Very hard working, humble, big smiling man who did it the hard way!
Season 20/21 started off with a bang, with Ellis impressing in the early Shield hub before rested and preparing for the BBL with the Hurricanes. A strong season followed and through some handy contributions in the Marsh Cup Nath earned a spot with the Australian Team for the white ball tour of the Caribbean and Bangladesh in Winter 2021.
He made his international debut for the Australia cricket team in August 2021, he became the first cricketer to take a hat-trick on his debut in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match.
In February 2022, he was bought by the Punjab Kings in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
