Unlike Cricket, Holly’s aspirations have no boundaries. Becoming a cricket sensation at only 14 years old after securing a hat-trick in her first three balls of her men’s grade debut, Holly has forever strived to better herself on and off the cricket pitch. She debuted for the Australian Women’s Cricket Team at age 17, in all three formats - ODI, T20 and Test Cricket - all while completing her schooling in Kingaroy, in country Queensland.

Holly now proudly represents the Melbourne Stars, Queensland Fire, Western Suburbs Districts CC. As a devastating right arm fast-med pace bowler, she flourishes under the pressure of big stage matches at all levels of competition.

Holly's career has not been without setbacks, often in the form of injuries. Multiple rounds of stress fractures to her spine and pelvis, as well as elbow surgery have kept her from the game she loves from time to time. But it is these setbacks which have made her the well rounded athlete today, striving for excellence both on and off the field.

Away from cricket, Holly has worked as a journalist for three years in a commercial radio newsroom for Macquarie Media, as well as reporting and commentating for Channel 7, FOX Sports, and ABC Grandstand. Remarkably, Holly balances these commitments while continuing to study at university. Holly has a passion for growing the game, and has combined her passion for media and women's sport, starting a podcast called Girls & Glory with the goal of giving listeners a 360 degree view of everything that goes into elite female sport. She works alongside a number of household brand names as an ambassador, while continuing to promote the game, and women’s sport.

Career Achievements:

  •  Hattrick off the first 3 balls she bowled in her men’s cricket debut at 13 years old
  • Debut for Queensland Fire age 16
  • ODI, T20 and Test debut for Australia age 17
  • 34 appearances for the Australian Women’s Cricket Team
  • Brisbane Heat’s foundation signing for WBBL01
