Valentine Holmes is a current professional Rugby League footballer for the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL.
A fullback or winger, Holmes has represented the Queensland Maroons and Australian Kangaroos, and currently holds the record for Tries (6) in a Test Match, and Tries in a World Cup Series (12).
Holmes formerly played for the Cronulla Sharks, where he won the NRL Premiership in 2016.
2019 saw Holmes take a break from the NRL, taking up an opportunity in the NFL International Pathways Program where he joined the New York Jets squad as he looked to make the active roster.
The reigning Dally M Centre of the Year enjoyed a remarkable 2022 campaign. In his first full season as a centre, Holmes was named the NRL’s best in the position. e also led the competition in points scored and starred for both Queensland in the remarkable Origin series victory and Australia in their World Cup triumph.
