BIOGRAPHY
Andy is a former Australian cricketer. He was a right-arm medium-fast bowler taking 769 first class wicket but was also a hard-hitting lower-order batsman with 9 first class hundreds. Bichel played 19 TESTS and 67 ODI Internationals for Australia between 1997 and 2004, and represented Queensland from 1992-2008 in the Australian first class system to become a household name in those tournaments. He also played and performed well for Worcestershire, Hampshire and Essex in British county cricket. Since retiring he has been coaching all over the World.
Coaching in the IPL with Kolkata Knightriders and The very successful Franchise Chennai Super Kings. Currently working with the LUCKNOW Super Giants team. He played a huge part in setting up Papua New Guinea success on the World stage of cricket. As Director of Cricket. Currently Assistant Coach and Performance Cosch with the Queensland Bulls and Brisbane HEAT. Let's not forget also in recent times he was an Australian Selector with lots of success for the Team last series was a 5-nil whitewash of the Ashes a good way to move on!
