From the moment she first stepped on a skateboard at eight years old, Liv Lovelace was captivated by the freedom and creativity of the sport. Whether competing on the world stage or skating solo with her headphones in, the board has always been her happy place.
Liv quickly made a name for herself as one of Australia’s top street skateboarders, representing the country at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. She was on track for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics when a serious arm injury, requiring three surgeries, sidelined her for months. A second setback—ankle ligament damage—meant another long recovery.
Determined to come back stronger, Liv returned to competition with impressive results, placing third at the Oceania Championships and fourth at the national championships. She went on to finish 10th at the 2022 World Championships and continued climbing the world rankings throughout 2023, securing her place among the top athletes in the sport.
In 2024, Liv officially earned her spot at the Paris Olympics, finishing 21st in the street skating preliminary round. With years of dedication, resilience, and passion behind her, she’s ready to take on the biggest stage in skateboarding.
