Lori Cramer is not only a talented women’s XV’s Rugby player at the University of Queensland (UQ), but she spends her spare time giving back, in a big way.
Cramer inspires on the field and, off field she is guiding young people to recognise their potential in her role as a full-time youth worker.
Build the Future (BTF) seeks to empower and support young people in the community through youth-centred development. BTF believes everyone has huge potential, no matter what background you come from. Through partnerships, programs and safe places BTF help young people discover and fulfil their potential.
As a full time youth worker Cramer goes to schools (generally high schools) and runs resiliency programs with the students to help encourage them to reach their potential.
