Growing up and learning to surf at 9 years old in the surf-abundant Margaret River region of Western Australia, under the expert guidance of her father Dave, an iconic professional surfer from the 80s and 90s, it was almost inevitable that Bronte Macaulay would pursue the chance to carve out a career in competitive surfing. In 2017 Bronte secured her place amongst the top 17 female surfers in the world, and is rated as one of Australia’s hottest young prospects.
