Matthew Acton, is the current goal keeper at Melbourne Victory FC in the Hyundai A-League. Raised in Queensland he spent 3 years at the Queensland Academy of sport before signing for the Brisbane Roar where he was part of 3 championships and 2 premiers plates and apart of the great team that went 36 games unbeaten. After 6 years of youth and first team football at Brisbane his career took him to Myanmar and the Philippines respectively. The past 3 years have seen him at his current club Melbourne Victory, one of the most successful clubs in the history of the A-League. Acton has one runners up medal and another championship medal since starting his time at the Victory.
