Blayke Brailey is an Australian professional rugby league player and one of the NRL’s elite hookers, currently starring for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. Known for his durability, leadership and elite game management, Brailey brings professionalism and consistency to both on-field performance and promotional appearances.

Since making his NRL debut in 2019, Brailey has established himself as one of the competition’s most reliable players. He finished the 2025 season on an outstanding streak of 130 consecutive NRL games, highlighting his resilience and preparation. After ascending to the Sharks’ captaincy late in the season, he was rewarded for his exceptional form with selection on Australia’s Ashes Tour and was named Dally M Hooker of the Year.

Brailey debuted in 2019 and has been a cornerstone of the Sharks’ spine ever since. In 2022, he won the club’s Iron Man Award, playing every game as Cronulla finished in the top four.

His consistency continued in 2024, when he claimed the Porter Gallen Medal for the second consecutive year, becoming the first Sharks player to do so since Michael Gordon. That season, Brailey led the team in touches with 3,360, and was again awarded the Iron Man Award, underlining his influence and endurance.

Brailey remains a long-term leader at the Sharks, having signed an extension that will keep him at the club until the end of 2030.

Brailey was selected in the extended squad for the 2023 NSW State of Origin team and has represented Australia, further showcasing his ability at the highest level.
