Jess Sedunary is an Australian Rules Footballer player for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL Women's competition. Jess was a premiership player in the 2017 AFLW Premiership season.
Jess was drafted by Adelaide with their fifteenth selection of 119th overall in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. Jess is a speedy midfielder and a consistent performer, using her trademark run and dash to hit the scoreboard and also set up her teammates. She has earned a well-earned fourth place in the Crow's club champion count and has played 15 games all up for the crows. In June 2022, Sedunary was traded to West Coast
As well as playing at St Kilda, Jess is the Female Participation Coordinator at the club and her role helps develop programs in the St Kilda area for women's football. These programs consist of executing school and community programs through to talent pathway development for girls.
Jess has also represented Australia in the Youth Olympic Festival in 2007 for cycling.
Jess' message to young girls is:
''If you want it enough and you work hard while staying positive and grateful, anything is possible and dreams really do come true. The AFLW and winning that first inaugural premiership is a living example of this!"
