Annelise Jefferies an elite triathlete from Sunshine Coast, Queensland. In 2013, she earned her professional licence at Noosa Tri and raced the ITU circuit in Australia and Asia. In 2015, she won the Elite U23 Duathlon World Championship. She has stepped up to the long distance 70.3 racing and dabbles in some cycling racing and trail running. Her favourite places to train are Montville, Mooloolaba and University of Sunshine Coast. She currently holds a bachelor degree in Sport and Exercise Science and is in the process of completing a bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. She’s also an accredited Ironman coach and is an ambassador for USC High Performance Student Athlete Program.
Annelise has spoken at the Sports Coast conference panel, University open days, and at numerous school visits. School talks are based around encouraging school students to consider their future and opportunities in high performance sport and tertiary education. Talks are highly engaging and cover some of the challenges and successes of a duel career as a student athlete. Annelise also delivers workshops in sport nutrition and in training recovery.
