About me
Matt Gillett is a former Australian rugby league player who spent his entire NRL career with the Brisbane Broncos, playing 202 games from 2010 to 2019. Known for his toughness and versatility, he earned NRL Rookie of the Year in 2010 and was twice named Dally M Second-Rower of the Year.
Gillett represented Queensland in 20 State of Origin games, winning five series, and played 12 Tests for Australia, including in the 2017 World Cup win. He retired in 2019 due to injuries and is remembered for his leadership, resilience, and commitment to the game.
