Model, performer, BLM advocate and self-titled fat&queer content creator, Milo Hartill, is the human embodiment of sunshine. Milo’s profile is a space to represent for the people who have felt like they could never make it in Australia’s modelling, screen, and stage industries, and to be a voice and face for fat, Black queer women. Milo has featured in a nation-wide Google ad: Helping you Help Others, which landed her with a feature on the Morning show, in campaigns for MYER, Bras N Thing, You Swim, Frank Body, Rollie, Taking Shape and CUPSHE just to name a few, and publicly in podcasts including Getting Through with Kath Ebbs and writing for Cool Pretty Cool and Fashion Journal. Now residing between Melbourne and Sydney, Milo explains that “as a model and performer, I have people reach out to me saying they feel seen having me as a face in those spaces, and that I’m making them feel as though they are welcome and able to succeed there also.” Passionate about championing body acceptance and diversity of all forms, Milo’s little sister is the reason why she has continued to pursue modelling & performing despite the challenges and roadblocks, “I hope seeing someone like me in ads makes her feel seen and represented,” she says, “I never had that growing up.” Milo has gone onto being the face of Oral B’S Mardi Gras Campaign, walking in AAFW, featuring in Abbie Chatfield’s ‘Hot Nights with Abbie’ speaking tour, appearing in Hayes Theatre’s Musical ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ and ‘Fan Girls the Musical’, and continuing to collaborate with top Australian Brands such as General Pants, Go To Skincare, Cotton On, Foreo Aus etc.
