Interior Designer & Renovation Experts
Michael and Carlene gained nationwide fame on The Block Glasshouse in 2014, capturing the hearts of Australians with their renovation skills and charm. They’ve since acted as hosts on Ready Set Reno & Renovate or Rebuild on 9Life, and continue as the hosts of Open Homes Australia.
Together with their two children, Paddy and Stella, they embody the essence of the down-to-earth Aussie family. Ten years on from bursting onto our screens and into our lives, they continue to inspire with their creative projects and entertaining personalities.
Their passion for design and renovation led them to establish Cedar & Suede, a business focused on content, renovation, and design. Beyond home renovations, the couple has restored five vintage caravans, documenting their work in their first book, This Old Van, which was released in April 2023.
